Sentry Event Services, Inc. (formerly BCM Security Services, Inc.) ("Sentry," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.sentryeventservices.com and any related pages or domains we operate that link to this Policy (together, the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

This Policy covers the Site only. It does not cover information we collect offline or through other channels. It also does not cover information about our employees once they are hired. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use.

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Street address, city, and state
  • A link to your resume (if you provide one), and any information in the resume you link to
  • The position you are applying for

Employee Portal. If you are an authorized Sentry team member, we collect the information needed to set up and access your account, such as your operator ID or email address, your password or access code, and, if you choose to sign in with Google, basic account information that Google shares with us (such as your name and email address).

Emails and calls. If you email or call us (for example, at the addresses or phone number listed on the Site), we collect whatever information you choose to share.

Please do not send us sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, or health information) through the Site unless we specifically ask for it through a secure method.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect some information about your device and how you use the Site, such as:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and how long you stay
  • The page or site that referred you to the Site

The Site is built and hosted on a third-party website platform (Base44) and delivered through Cloudflare. That platform records page views and basic usage and session activity on the Site. See Section 4 (Cookies and Similar Technologies) for more detail.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests for operations briefs, quotes, or information
  • Evaluate job applications, contact applicants, and make hiring decisions
  • Provide, operate, and secure the Employee Portal
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Understand how visitors use the Site
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Site, our systems, and our business, and prevent fraud or misuse
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
  • Send marketing emails about our services to people who have subscribed (see "Marketing emails" in Section 9)

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.

We may share information:

  • With service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website platform and hosting providers (including Base44 and Cloudflare), email providers, and, for job applicants and employees, our workforce management and scheduling platform (Parim) and our payroll and HR provider (Cornerstone PEO / PrismHCM), and, for job applicants, our background check provider, The Background Check Bureau. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. Background checks are run only with the applicant's written authorization, as required by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
  • For legal reasons, when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with the law, a court order, or other legal process; to respond to lawful requests from government authorities; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sentry, our clients, our employees, event guests, or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site does not use third-party advertising cookies or advertising tracking pixels. Based on our current review, the Site does not use Google Analytics or social media tracking pixels (such as a Meta/Facebook Pixel).

The Site does use the following technologies:

  • Platform analytics. Our website platform (Base44) has built-in analytics that record page views and basic session activity (for example, when a session starts and how long it lasts). It stores an analytics session identifier in your browser's local storage.
  • Login storage. If you sign in to the Employee Portal, the Site stores a sign-in token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.
  • Security and delivery. Our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) may set cookies or use similar technologies that are needed to protect the Site and deliver it reliably.

You can clear local storage and cookies, and block cookies, through your browser settings. If you do, some features (such as staying signed in to the Employee Portal) may not work properly.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site links to websites and services we do not control, including Parim (sentryevents.parim.co), Cornerstone PEO / PrismHCM, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The Site may also let you sign in with Google. Some images on the Site, such as partner logos, load from third-party servers, which may receive basic technical information (such as your IP address) when they load.

When you use a third-party site or service, its own privacy policy applies, not this one. We encourage you to read those policies.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this Policy, including to meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. For example:

  • Operations Brief and other business inquiries: up to 3 years after our last contact with you
  • Job applications from applicants who are not hired: 2 years
  • Employee Portal account information: for as long as the account is active, then 1 year after the account is closed, except records we are required by law to keep longer (such as payroll and employment records)
  • Platform analytics data: up to 14 months

We may keep information longer than these periods where required by law or where reasonably necessary to resolve disputes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.

7. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. For example, the Site is delivered over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and the Employee Portal is limited to authorized personnel. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Site. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

All visitors. You may contact us at any time to ask to see, correct, or delete personal information you have submitted through the Site. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Marketing emails. We send marketing emails about our services only to people who subscribe. You can subscribe by clicking a Subscribe link and providing your email address. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by contacting us as described below. We will honor unsubscribe requests promptly, as required by law. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop non-marketing messages, such as responses to your inquiries, messages about services you have contracted for, or messages about a job application you have submitted.

State privacy rights. Depending on the state where you live, you may have rights under state privacy law, which may include the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information
  • Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling (as noted above, we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising)
  • Appeal our decision on your request

These rights are subject to exceptions and may not apply in every state or situation.

How to make a request. To make a request, email us at info@sentryeventservices.com or call +1 (866) 489-0595. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we may ask you for information to do so. You may use an authorized agent to make a request where state law allows; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal." We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents. In line with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA):

  • This Policy describes the categories of personal information we collect through the Site and the types of third parties we share it with (Sections 1 and 3).
  • You may review and ask us to correct the personal information you submitted through the Site by contacting us as described below.
  • Our approach to Do Not Track signals is described in Section 4.
  • We will post any changes to this Policy on this page, as described in Section 10.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on the Site and change the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we may also give additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means the updated Policy applies.
